8th Dec

We’re home at last.  Feels like we’ve been on a really bad camping trip. Daisy’s done so well and the staff are impressed with how she’s coped with the treatment.  We know there’s a lot to come but for now she’s fast asleep in her new comfy bed with another pile of new bears.  Hopefully she’ll keep up the momentum and we’ll be here for Christmas. Next cycle should be 28th Dec followed by MRI.  We’re booked in at Shrewsbury next week for some routine stuff and a look around the ward where Daisy may have the remainder of her treatment.

  2. Hello Sarah and Harry and Daisy,
Must be MARVELLOUS to be home again, as you say, being in Hospital on a camp bed Im presuming, cannot be much fun,I was lying in my own bed last night Sarah, trying to imagine where you were, bless you, SUPERMUMMY !! reminds me of when my Dad used to take us ” Camping ” when we were kids,” you WILL love it” he used to say, well my mother and I didnt, we like soft beds , we like nice toilets and we DONT like earwigs in our beds !! not that you will have found many of those in BCH!! So glad to imagine DP safely back in her own bed surrounded by MORE Teddies galore by the sound of it, she probably thinks this is all quite a ” GAS “…BLESS HER, Loads of fuss, Loads of pressies, will keep her on track and moving forward through the treatment, and out the other side…I have got a sniffy bug, so wont be anywhere near….Have a lovely weekend guys.
Loads of love to you all

When you have time remember, look around very carefully you might just find that fairy’s are everywhere! So keep your eyes peeled as you never know what you might magically see! Aunty Suz Xxx

  6. Hi family Pitt!

So great to be able to keep up with whats going on so easily from such a ridiculous distance! Daisy really looks like shes trooping along which is fab and must be a testament to her wonderful family and all the support you’re getting and giving. I wish I was closer so I could do something useful (or at least sneak in on the visits from father christmas and the beautiful puppy!)

Heaps of love to all of you 🙂
